Sensitivity

Which of all our senses
Hearing, seeing, touch
Taste and smelling too
Which of these do you expect is most important to you?

See the delicate flower
See it's brittle shape
See it hold it's own to the wind
Till doomsday comes about.

Hear the call of summer birds
Hear them fade away
Then in the spring hear them chirp again
For their children, must learn to sing.

Taste the sweetness of  mango fruits
Freshly picked off the tree
Taste the sour of a lemon
Taste the bitter of  cinnamon on it's own

Smell the freshness of the 'morn
The quietness of dewdrops
Smell the times in the air
Smell deliciously of warm chocolate squares

Touch the roughness of a dog
Touch the softness of a kitten
Touch the slippery warmth that silk gives
Touch the wetness of spilt milk

Touch or Smell or Taste or Hear
Or see the love that emits here
Which sense would satisfy you more
Which one would give you less?
