The Goodbye

Adieu, Adieu
We must now part,
Our souls entwined,
Our eternal sparks..

Farewell, Farewell
Our paths must go their separate ways
And yet are to cross
As certainly as the sun
Does rise in the 'morn..

Goodnight, Goodnight
And to say adieu and farewell we must,
as we should,
the sacred trust..

Adieu
Farewell
And goodnight to thee,
May your dreams be pleasant
And the lady of love watch over thee.
